After only 9 days, Google confirmed that the page experience update for desktop is complete. Keep reading to learn more.
Despite initially indicating the page experience update for desktop would be rolled out by the end of March 2022, Google confirmed (via Twitter) on March 3rd that the update is complete. Google gave notice back in November 2021 that the update would be coming to desktop, began rolling it out on February 22nd, and concluded it on March 3rd.

Needless to say, this was a relatively quick update compared to the previous launch of the page experience update on mobile, which took around two and a half months to complete.
SEO professionals and experienced industry experts will now be able to start assessing the impact of this desktop update on their search rankings. However, as we already mentioned in this previous post, do not expect significant changes. The new update for desktop includes the same factors already being used for the mobile version of this update, except for mobile-friendliness.
