During the first quarter, the five practice areas with the most questions submitted were criminal law, family law, landlord-tenant law, real estate law, and child custody law. However, that is no longer the case for the second quarter.
Criminal law and family law remained the two most common practice areas receiving questions on Justia Ask A Lawyer, followed by real estate law, child custody law, and estate planning.
Which States Submit the Most Questions?
Like the changes in most active practice areas, the states with users submitting the most questions through Justia Ask A Lawyer also changed during the second quarter.
These 10 states had the most users submit questions through our forum between April 1 and June 30, 2021: Florida, California, Texas, Georgia, Ohio, Louisiana, Michigan, Kentucky, New York, and Tennessee.
