Now it seems that lawyers taking advantage of LSAs will have even greater visibility through Google as the company has started adding lawyer LSAs to Google Maps results.
Historically, LSAs only appeared in 2 featured positions on mobile devices and 3 featured positions on desktops at the top of the search engine results page (SERP).
Recently, Google advised its partners that it would show Local Services Ads in organic Google Maps immersive lists on mobile devices with 1-2 ads appearing with the “Google Screened” badge. These ads could even show in the organic map results when the LSA is not served at the top of the SERP.
Now, this change has started to take effect for lawyer LSAs on desktop devices!
While it remains to be seen if this change is permanent or something that Google is temporarily testing, it is exciting news for law firms marketing with Local Services Ads as they now have the opportunity to appear at the top of the SERP and in Google Maps results too.
